We are able to offer research services on a contractual basis to help organisations develop policies and strategies, respond to identified problems and/or act as the basis of development.
The Research Team

Professor Neil Thompson, Managing Director
Neil Thompson is recognised as a leading author in the human relations field, with over 100 publications to his name, including several best-selling textbooks. His works are widely cited by authors in the UK and abroad. He has been a speaker at conferences and seminars in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Greece, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Canada, the United States and Australia.
Dr Sharon Brimfield-Edwards, Research Officer
Sharon Brimfield-Edwards has experience of residential child care, youth justice work and police work. She has a PhD which researched stress in social work.
Susan Thompson MA, Director
Susan Thompson is an experienced practitioner in the caring professions, with an impressive range of publications. She is the co-author (with Neil Thompson) of a major new social work textbook to be published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2007.
